治療
1.基礎治療
（1）發作期及退熱后24小時應臥床休息。
（2）要注意水分的補給，對食欲不佳者給予流質或半流質飲食，至恢復期給高蛋白飲食；吐瀉不能進食者，則適當補液；有貧血者可輔以鐵劑

2.病原治療
目的是既要殺滅紅內期的瘧原蟲以控制發作，又要殺滅紅外期的瘧原蟲以防止復發，并要殺滅配子體以防止傳播。
（1）間日瘧、三日瘧和卵形瘧治療：包括現癥病例和間日瘧復發病例，須用血內裂殖體殺滅藥如氯喹，殺滅紅內期的原蟲，迅速退熱，并用組織期裂殖體殺滅藥亦稱*藥或抗復發藥進行*或稱抗復發治療，殺滅紅外期的原蟲。常用氯喹與伯氨喹聯合治療。
（2）惡性瘧治療：對氯喹尚未產生抗性地區，仍可用氯喹殺滅紅細胞內期的原蟲，同時須加用配子體殺滅藥。成人口服氯喹加伯氨喹。
