該儀器按照GB3398-2008和DIN53456標準設計制作的，并符合ISO2039標準的要求。可用于對汽車工程塑料ABS，以及其它一些行業用塑料的硬度來進行測定。該儀器測定高分子材料抵抗另一種被視做沒有彈性變形的剛性物體對它壓入的能力。該機采用微處理器進行控制，具有集成化、數字化等優點，是一種智能化的新型儀器。該儀器液晶中文顯示可自動加載, 具有自動記時以及數字位移檢測等多種功能。
