艾美捷細胞計數試劑盒-8（CCK-8）原理：

使用四氮唑鹽WST-8（2-（2-甲氧基-4-硝基苯基）-3-（4-硝基苯基）-5-（2,4-二磺基苯基）-2H-四氮唑單鈉鹽），其在電子載體1-甲氧基-PMS存在下生化還原時產生高度水溶性的甲氮染料。細胞中脫氫酶產生的黃色甲贊染料的量與培養基中活細胞的數量成正比。

細胞計數試劑盒-8（CCK-8）是一種比色測定試劑盒，用于測量細胞增殖和細胞毒性。它是一種不需要放射性同位素且與[3H]-胸苷摻入試驗相關的即用溶液。它可以直接添加到細胞培養基中，用于快速、高通量篩選，而無需增溶過程，從而獲得高度重復和準確的結果。CCK-8顯示出比MTT、MTS或WST-1更高的靈敏度和穩定性。
