循環泵的工作原理要將水循環起來所用的泵就叫循環泵，例如水暖供熱管道中的熱水是靠循環泵循環起來的。運用范圍：主要用于工業方面，例如工業原來的輸送、加熱循環系統、系統增壓、生活熱水循環等領域。性能及優點：結構緊湊、維護方便、噪音低、可選配鑄鐵或不銹鋼葉輪。所有機械密封為便拆式,更換機械密封無需拆卸電機。
是指泵的作用而言，離心泵是指泵的結構而言，兩者*是兩個概念。循環泵的工作原理要將水循環起來所用的泵就叫循環泵，例如水暖供熱管道中的熱水是靠循環泵循環起來的。

自吸式清水管道離心泵
水源質量好相對固定工作位置，吸程在3.5米以內管道穩定，用在水井生活供水、果園灌溉時可減少泵水時充水麻煩，實際揚程在22米以下，工作效率稍差化工泵。*次投入運行時應先加入循環排空用水，水泵才能完成自吸。
充水式清水管道離心泵
水源水質好移動性大管道相對不固定，吸程2.5米內實際揚程在32米內，水泵流量可根據需要而任意調節，適應種果專業戶作噴灑農藥、灌溉供水，工作效率較高。吸水管應保證密封良好。
潛水式清水管道離心泵
水源充足揚程低，閥門適用于農田果園水量大的灌溉。因潛水泵整機放入水中工作軸向推水上升，減少出水量將增大水泵負荷。所以在潛水泵出水管中不要裝閥門，防止因閥門關閉開機水泵阻力過大燒壞電機。
