2009年在Frankfurt舉辦的ProLight+Sound/Musikmesse 上，AKG以很高的評(píng)價(jià)宣布了Perception話筒系列的產(chǎn)品?Perception 820 Tube。 Perception 820 Tube為Perception系列家族中的一員，其產(chǎn)品還包括P 120, P 170, P 220以及 P 420。每個(gè)話筒都上的20分貝的衰減器和低阻濾器有利于擴(kuò)增話筒在嗓音，銅管樂(lè)器，電吉他擴(kuò)音器以及overhead miking等方面的功能。

Perception 820是由一個(gè)雙重一英寸的真正電容式大型振動(dòng)膜包裹，一次傳遞清晰精確地信號(hào)，尤其適用于主音，銅管樂(lè)器，overhead miking以及其他的應(yīng)用。
ECC 83雙三極管管狀電路以及輸出變壓器意在為飽滿(mǎn)的，流暢的立體聲制造出偶次諧波。遠(yuǎn)程控制單元允許從*指向性，心形指向性到8字型指向性等9種不同的指向性中進(jìn)行選擇。
