收到貨品時，應檢查貨品的外包裝是否完好無損。開箱后檢查坩堝表面有無缺損、裂紋、檢查涂層有無損壞.

錯誤的做法：坩堝在搬運過程中，受到敲打或被滾動，其釉層會被破壞。

正確的做法：應該用墊了軟墊的手推車（或者其它合適的搬運工具）小心地搬運坩堝。

為了更好的保護坩堝的釉層，搬運坩堝時必須非常小心，要輕取輕放，避免發生敲打、碰撞或跌落的現象，更不能把坩堝橫放在地面上滾動運輸。坩堝的釉層一旦受損，會導致坩堝在使用過程中容易發生氧化和老化現象。應該用墊了軟墊的手推車（或者其他合適的搬運工具）小心的搬運坩堝。
