關于活死細胞染色的研究，Calcein AM和碘化丙啶(PI)這兩種活死細胞染色試劑盒：Calcein AM是一種疏水化合物，容易滲透完整的活細胞，進入細胞后被酯酶水解產生強烈熒光，同時它能完整的保存在細胞細胞質中，酯酶活性與活細胞的數量成正比。對于具有完整膜的活細胞，DNA染料PI是J性的無法滲透細胞膜，它僅能結合死細胞的DNA，一起來看下檢測結果(如圖)：
