Overview
The XP40-IP is an full HD-IP explosion-protected PTZ camera station, designed for use in hazardous areas in onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments. The units are certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2, Category 2G (Gas) and Zone 21 and Zone 22, Category 2D (Dust), Group IIC.
It is constructed from electropolished 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection and are fitted as standard with a sunshield, integral wiper and an integral thermostatically controlled heater element.
Fitted as standard in the XP40-IP is a choice of 10X or 18X optical zoom IP day-night cameras with full HD 1080p and H.264 and MJPEG compression. Both are ONVIF compliant and support fully open standards (OSA) HTTP API for ease of integration.
An integral Fibre Media Converter can also be specified as required.
The Oxalis XWP pressurised washer pump is compatible with the XP range. It can also be specified with a conduit tail (standard 3m length with options from 1.5 to 15m) for connection to Oxalis termination enclosures (Ex e) or control panels (Ex d) for the installation of additional powered devices and transmission equipment.
The XP range can be used in conjunction with Oxalis video management solutions but is designed be compatible with most common video management systems.
