Overview The XT40-H is an analogue-IP Hybrid explosion-protected PTZ camera station designed for use in hazardous areas in onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments. It is constructed from electropolished 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection and is fitted as standard with a sunshield, integral wiper and an integral thermostatically controlled heater element. The integral illuminator has a range of 100m at 12o and is internally powered, allowing full use of continuous rotation panning. It utilises the latest Nano-Stack LED technology to give longer range illumination from very low power consumption. Fitted as standard in the XT40-H is choice of " 10X optical zoom modules or ¼" 37X optical zoom analogue zoom modules coupled with an integral low latency MJPEG / MPEG-4 OSA IP Encoder. An integral Fibre Media Converter can also be specified as required. This allows the use of analogue camera features while giving IP output from the camera station over fibre optics where required. It can be specified with the XWP pressurised washer pump as an option which is switched via the camera stations integral telemetry receiver. The XP40 range can be used in conjunction with Oxalis video management solutions (matrix or IP) but is designed be compatible with most common video management systems.
